Hong Kong, China - Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG)

Applicants who are/were non-local students and have obtained an undergraduate or higher qualification in a full-time and locally accredited program in Hong Kong or a full-time qualified program jointly operated by universities of the Mainland and Hong Kong in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area may apply to stay/return and work in Hong Kong under this program. This program does not apply to nationals of Afghanistan, Cuba and North Korea. For nationals of Lao, Nepal and Vietnam must graduate from a full-time locally-accredited local program in Hong Kong offered by the University Grants Committee funded universities and Greater Bay Area campus graduates.

Requirements
  • Non-local students who have obtained an undergraduate or higher qualification in a full-time and locally-accredited program in Hong Kong 

  • Graduates who have obtained an undergraduate or higher qualification in a full-time program offered by a higher education institution in the Mainland cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area jointly established by universities of the Mainland and Hong Kong in accordance with the related regulations 

  • Graduates submit application within six months after the date of their graduation are not required a job offer 

  • Graduates submit application beyond six months of the date of their graduation are required to have a qualified job offer 

  • No criminal records 

Procedure

Step 3: Receive file numbers and additional documents request 

Step 4: Receive decision
