Requirements

To be eligible, you must be a third-country national who:

  • Has a clean criminal record from your country of residence and from Portugal

  • Has demonstrated one of the following:

- A proof of retirement and declaration issued by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security mentioning your monthly pension amount 

- A proof of stable passive income meaning a monthly income equivalent to Portugal’s minimum monthly wage through real estate revenues, financial investments or bank deposits

  • Has proof of accommodation in Portugal

  • Has demonstrated sufficient liquid funds equivalent to 1 year of expenses in Portugal

  • Has a valid and suitable travel medical insurance for at least one year including medical expenses such as urgent medical care

Procedures

Step 1  :  Retain Anlex Consultants to assess and prepare your application

Step 2 :  Portuguese Taxpayer Identification Number (NIF

Step 3:Obtain an individual Portuguese Bank Account 

Step 4:Prepare and submit the application to the Consulate/VFS Global Centre 

Step 5:Issuance of Temporary Resident Visa [if application is approved]
